Farm House – cast iron

Back in mid November I went antiquing with a friend and I was able to pick up several used old cast iron pans.

The new “old” pans needed a really good cleaning so that’s what I did today. Of course I was right into the process and I forgot to snap a few before pics. Needless to say they look really amazing and they are cooking up in the oven with a good double seasoning…..

The kitchen is a bit smokey but nothing I can’t live with for a bit. All I had to do was put a fan in the window, pop open another window and the smokey air is clearing up.

Can’t wait til they are done as it is such a beautiful collection now. When the pans are all cooled off I will grab a nice pic and post it on say ….. we will call it “tickle tuesday”. Something posted that is amusing, interesting or tickle my funny bone 😄.

Just a little something that I did today.

I did start on Christmas cookies and I will share that with you in a day or two♡

Happy weekend everyone.
